The history of the carousel

Apr 26, 2022

It is said that in Europe in 180X, it was popular for small shop owners to put rocking horses in front of the shop. Sure enough, the origin of all dreams is simple. And mostly to make money.

However, some clever people put the wooden horse chairs up on a wooden frame, form a circle, and make them turn. Of course, the Trojan horse won't turn on its own, so the one pulling the big mill is sometimes a real pony, and sometimes it's a real person.

Thanks to the great Mr. Watt, the world has a steam engine since then. The carousel has also begun to be updated, with a steam engine as its heart. The steam engine rumbled and spit out white air that filled the surroundings, so the colorful Trojan horses also seemed to travel through the clouds and mist. What a gorgeous scene.

This is probably the reason why merry-go-rounds are often associated with romantic elopements in the future!

It was circa 186X, and European immigrants were constantly pouring into the North American continent. As a result, Americans were once again deeply moved by the splendid European culture, so that merry-go-round theme parks blossomed everywhere in the United States.
