Under normal circumstances, the foaming will be about 3 - 5 minutes is appropriate, if the time is too long, the viscosity of the rubber will increase due to vulcanization, resulting in the inability to be painted or poured, resulting in scrap.
3. Before painting or filling the mold, be sure to clean the surface of the original to be copied, and apply a mold release agent (such as Vaseline) or release agent. Then evenly brush or pour the glue after vacuum debubbling into the original model to be copied. For example, when using the brushing method, after about 30 minutes, stick a layer of gauze or glass fiber cloth on the model to enhance the strength of the silicone, then apply a layer of rubber, and then stick the gauze or fiberglass cloth, and repeat this for two times. times. The mold made by this method has a longer service life and more times of mold turning, which can save money and cost.
4. The production of the outer mold: the general method is to use plastic board or cardboard to surround the mold and fix it with glue. If plaster is used, the outer frame of the mold can be filled; if the resin brushing method is used, then Apply a layer of resin and stick a layer of glass fiber cloth, so repeat the operation three times to make the outer mold.
5. Filling mold or filling mold: This method is used for models with smoother surfaces or simpler shapes. When operating, first use plastic board, cardboard or glass plate to surround the original or model to be copied, and then pour the evacuated and defoamed rubber material directly into the original or model to be copied, and take it out after the mold glue is cured.
